The Argos took care of business and handed a very competitive Simon Fraser team a loss in the opener.   The Argos won 11-8 with multiple goals from Kevin Ngyuen and Nate Jackson, solid defense led by Kevin Arbejo and Johnny Fruehe, and excellent goaltending by Hunter Adams.   Coach Pederick called it a solid outing but there is of course, a lot to improve on.

Conference Domination Continues!

Posted by John Fruehe on March 27, 2011 at 8:40 PM

The Argo's sent a pesky GCU Antelope team home with a 11-7 loss, after falling behind 2-0 to start the game.  A full house rooted them to victory followed by a BBQ feast with all the trimmings.   It was a perfect day.   The Argo's next game is against conference rival Dominican at home.  After some tough losses to some tough East Coast teams, which likely raised the Argo's bar for the future, the boys have been able to handle their conference foes and are looking for a 8-0 shutout record.   Go Argo's!

The Argo's were hitting on all cylinders and crushed the visiting Adams State squad by a score of 21 - 5.   Coming off a narrow loss to Dominican, Adams looked to be a tough opponent.   The Argo however scored early and often and will bring confidence and momentum with them to Florida.
